Lavish banquet hall where Henry VIII entertained visiting royalty is discovered beneath playground


The ruins of a banquet hall where Henry VIII
entertained royalty from other nations is being excavated near Surrey, England.
The hall was near the Tiltyard Towers, which overlooked a royal jousting field.
Henry VIII also jousted and was seriously injured at another field in 1536.
Experts speculate a possible brain injury may have led the formerly handsome
charmer into paranoia, obesity and bad behavior.
